About
I am a photographer. I am notoriously barefoot. I adore dogs. I prefer Belgian beer and chocolate. I can identify voiceover actors with shocking accuracy. I can crochet like nobody’s business. I snort when I laugh. I buy magazines just to look at the pictures. I never forget a face.
Coming from generations of artists, both musical and visual, I inherited my artistic eye primarily from my father (a landscape and nature photographer) and my grandmothers (one a painter, the other a serious doodler). I began my love of photography as a teenager after receiving a 35mm camera and 4 rolls of black and white film for Christmas, and experienced a renewal of this passion with the birth of my daughter in 2003.
A Southerner by birth and a Texan for almost 30 years, I have lived in Houston since 1997 with one exception – I just returned to Texas from a one year relocation to the Netherlands.
Proud member of the Professional Photographers of America and WPPI – Wedding and Portrait Photographers International.
